This and That
Susan would like to share exciting news about some of her friends. First of all, Carly Schroeder, who portrayed Lee & Gail Baldwin's granddaughter, Serena, has a fabulous movie career going! She was in "Firewall," with Harrison Ford and then starred in "Day of the Dolphin." She won an award from the International Family Film Festival for her portrayal of
Alyssa. It has now been released on DVD. Below is a picture of Carly with Susan and Kin Shriner, who played Serena's dad on "General Hospital" (and still does!)

Susan's Friend: Marjorie Lord
We all remember the "mom" in "Make Room for Daddy" with Danny Thomas. The show has been in syndication for years and showing on the TV sitcom channels. It's also available on DVD, for those of us who enjoy the comedies that were smart, clean and funny. Marjorie Lord portrayed Kathy in the long-running series. Along with "Make Room for Daddy," Marjorie has a prestigious career on the stage, on TV and in the movies. Marjorie and Susan are friends of long-standing (I wouldn't dare say "old friends!" Both of these wonderful ladies are so very young at heart and have had very successful careers in the entertainment world.
Marjorie Lord has written her autobiography and has read it for those who wish to listen to it. It is also available in book form, but the audio DVD is a must!
Susan invites you to visit Marjorie's website for more information. She also promises that if you listen closely, you'll hear more about the exploits of Marjorie and Susan!

Lifestyles of the
Rich and
Famous
Robin Leech paid a visit to Susan's
home to interview Kathleen Noone (Bette, Sunset Beach; Claudia, Knott's
Landing & Ellen, AMC). When Kathleen came to California, Susan was
gracious enough to show her around and even rented her the Guest House in
Susan's back yard. Now, that's friendship!

In the News
In a recent Soaps in Depth article, Susan stated she hopes
to be working into her 90's! We certainly hope so, Susan, as you would be
sorely missed! There was one discrepancy in that article, though. Susan has
been on TEN daytime soap operas in her career. Even the Internet Movie
Database, which is always filled with wonderful information, has some gaps in
Susan's resume. Be sure to check out "Prime Time Views," "The Soap Box" and
"Movie Roles" to see a comprehensive list of Susan's credits.
